Our position on AI

We use AI the way we use any good tool: to do repetitive work faster, not to make decisions for us. AI assists with research, first drafts, data processing, code scaffolding and quality checks. It never owns scope, quality judgments, or releases.

What AI does

  • Drafts and research — content outlines, first-pass copy, market and technical research, code boilerplate.
  • Processing and checks — data cleanup, formatting, automated tests, consistency reviews.
  • Standardizable tasks — anything with clear inputs, clear rules and verifiable outputs.

What humans always do

  • Review — every AI-assisted output that reaches a client, a customer, or the public is reviewed by a person.
  • Decide — scope, quality bar, release timing and anything involving brand, customers or sensitive data stays with accountable people.
  • Own — the final deliverable is ours. If an AI-assisted draft contains an error, responsibility is Kovalu's, not the tool's.

Checkpoints, agreed per project

Before work starts, we agree with you where the human checkpoints sit: what AI may draft, what requires human approval, and who signs off before release. These checkpoints are part of the project scope, not an afterthought — so nothing ships on autopilot.

Your data and AI tools

We do not feed your confidential data into public AI tools without your knowledge. When a project involves AI processing of your data, we agree the tools, the data boundaries and the retention terms in advance.

Want AI in your operations — with humans in charge?

Tell us the process. We'll design the system and the checkpoints around it.
